What is going on at Bondloc?

January 2012

Firstly, can we take this opportunity to wish all our customers a Happy & Prosperous New Year and say thanks for their business and support during 2011.

January see's the end of our financial year and a good time to reflect on 2011, last year proved to be very good with lots of New products being tested and evaluated for 2012. New Export customers were welcomed and a number of Private Label customers extended their product lines, Bondloc distribution business also saw positive changes with new distributors signing up to promote and sell the Bondloc brand.

We have extended our range of UV curable adhesives with 6 more glass bonding grades in various viscosities, a Structural Glass bonder and a Plastic bonder, we also provide advice and technical support on a range of UV curing lamps and equipment.

2012 will see the introduction of a select range of Anaerobics with improved torque performance, greater temperature resistance and approved for use with water and gas. The New range will carry WRAS for potable water and EN-751-1 for gas approval.

This year we will embark on a new marketing campaign to bring the Bondloc brand to the attention of OEM's, Engineers and R&D department's to showcase Bondloc's capabilities as a manufacturer of adhesive products, we pride ourselves on service and support, our flexibility to produce bespoke products to meet our clients needs is a strong message we want to promote.

December 2011
Last month was our busiest month on record and hopefully December will give us time to catch up with some of the many applications we have ongoing.

We have received confirmation that our B3298 Structural adhesive has been trialled and tested for a new Bentley cars application which will be going into service early 2012.

From our Distributor network we have received numerous quality leads that we have worked on together to a successful conclusion, these companies are at the coal face spreading the word about Bondloc, we'd like to take this opportunity to thankyou all for your business, time and efforts during 2011.

2012 see's the introduction of some new style packaging and products and some revamping of the frontline range, we are always looking at how we can improve our product range,service and support and welcome any suggestions you may have to help us achieve that.

November 2011
We are constantly looking at ways of improving our packaging and how we can they can be dispensed. This month see's the introduction of a new 50ml tube for our Pipeseal and Gasketing products, the softer plastic allows the tube to be squeezed easily and results in less product being left in the container.

Another feature is the introduction of a Twist top nozzle which gives greater control of the product when dispensed and also helps regulate the flow.

Standard products to be filled are Pipeseals B572,B567,B577 and Gasket products B510,B515,B518,B574 & B5180/B5190.

October 2011
We are looking for customers interested in our B55 Pipe Sealing Cord supplied on 150mtr rolls, another new product is our PVC Pipe Cement which has been reformulated as a faster curing and stronger adhesive for PVC pipes and conduits.

A New line of UV curable adhesives has been developed ready for launch into the New Year, the range includes a Glass bonding adhesive for Bevel bonding, a Structural Glass adhesive for the furniture Industry, a low Viscosity grade for the Windscreen Repair market and a Fly tye non tack grade for the Fly Fishing market.

September 2011
Plans have been made for our trade show is Cologne our stand design is complete and we are now building our database to contact potential clients througthout Europe, the Cologne show is part of our strategy to increase more Export sales in Europe.

August 2011
So far this year sales have been very good with 2 record months in March and May with the busy period in the Autumn still to come. We will be exhibiting at the Hardware show in Cologne in March 2012 and have a few New products which we will be launching and using as a focus to gain more European distribution business.

July 2011
Our ISO 9001 was successfully renewed this month, our new manufacturing facility passed the review and our new cert was issued for another 12 months, well done to eveyone involved.

February 2011 
Bondloc ready to open in North America.
In February Bondloc will be welcoming representatives from Bondloc NA, a new venture to help grow the brand across the US. The focus will be within the Distribution markets working with Bearing, Tool and Engineers merchants who want to promote a quality UK manufactured product range.

We are excited by the potential of this new agreement and see the US Market fitting in well with our Export plans

MRO Mini Mate - Jan 2011
Following the success of the Bondloc Maintenance Engineers kit we have launched the MRO Mini-Mate Kit, a scaled down version still supplied in a tough plastic outer case. The Mini-Mate carries many of the old favourites but in smaller sizes packs this makes the Mini-Mate not only more affordable but still provides a comprehensive range of Adhesives and Sealants whether you're threadlocking, threadsealing, gasketing or bonding.
