Bondloc Thread Sealants are single-component liquids that cure at room temperature in the absence of air and when in contact with metal ions. The adhesive completely fills the gaps between mating threads to lock threads and joints. Bondloc Thread Sealants replace conventional methods used such as PTFE tape, O-ring, hemp etc which can all cause issues. PTFE tape shards generated during pipe assembly can contaminate internal hydraulic pipe systems, and PTFE tape can leak once readjusted after pipe location setting and requires a manual wrapping adding both time and cost.
