“We will look back on this year and reflect on its events and the impact of the pandemic both personally, for our family, friends, neighbours and for our business.”
And what a year it’s been. On-going Brexit negotiations and associated economic gloom, February flooding together with the initial rumble of COVID19 across Asia and Europe at the start of the year; we couldn’t have predicted the severity of the virus on all of us during 2020.
For Bondloc, it’s been business “not as usual”, but we’ve continued to operate and support all of our customers (and welcomed some new ones!) throughout the year thanks to all our fantastic staff who adapted to new ways of working very quickly whilst juggling so much uncertainty and the impact of the virus both at home and at work.
Like many businesses, for survival, it’s been a time to be inventive. With a speedy transition to manufacture, test, approve and launch our certified hand sanitiser range during March, and whilst much of the economy was closed, this enabled us to continue as a business and keep our staff safe and employed. Furthermore, these products have been distributed amongst our community and our adhesive customers to help businesses stay open and to keep their staff and customers safe.
But from all the adversity that we’ve faced this year, and with the clattering of pots and pans applauding the NHS in the background there are a few things we can take with us into next year – a strong foundation for our staff and our customers.
With the promise of a successful vaccine programme, a Brexit deal or “no-deal” we will be here standing strong and ready for 2021 with our army of adhesive, sealants and sanitiser products. We have great expectations for next year, to support the continued growth of Bondloc and most importantly, further support you, your business and the challenges you face. We can’t wait to start a brand new year.
